The subject of how and why humans suffer with headaches is well known. In addition, there are many techniques, treatments and life style changes recommended for the different types of headaches. While they cannot verbalize their headaches, it is inevitable dogs suffer from different types of headaches.
What you will learn in this training.
The participant will:
Understand the possibilities of canine headaches with a focus on the musculoskeletal component
Receive a review of the cervical and cranial anatomy of the canine
Gain an understanding of how to appropriately treat the musculoskeletal component of the canine headache
Gain an understanding of the symptoms of canine headaches
Understand how to use modalities, such as laser therapy, to treat canine headaches
Understand what is not appropriate for physical modalities and manual mobilization
Understand basic principles of manual therapy and mobilization for canine headaches
